Pay-as-you-go PR

Abigail Trow, promptmarketingltd

Prompt is a new pay-as-you-go PR and marketing service for designers. Launched by Abby Trow, leading interiors journalist and founding editor of interior design bible idFX, Prompt is aimed at those feel excluded from PR because of the costs involved, or who would like the freedom to establish a strong relationship with a PR firm, but on a project-by-project basis.

What makes Prompt different from many PR firms is that it doesn't require fixed-term contracts or monthly retainers. Rather clients make contact as and when they need something and that something might be very small indeed, such as a 250-word press release about a new product or service.

Prompt charges on an hourly or a daily basis, and aims to give you a fixed price for a job at the outset, so you won't be hit with hidden extras.

Prompt launched at the start of 2005 and has already achieved a following among smaller design firms, many of which have long wanted help with their PR, but have been unable to afford the fees charged by mainstream companies.

Prompt knows both the design and media worlds inside out and has great contacts. The team comprises brilliant wordsmiths, masterful photographers and highly creative graphic and website designers. So whatever your needs, Prompt will meet them. Quickly, creatively and cost-effectively.
